WINNER!

Ferris Bueller is the movie for the week! Watch before Saturday's Zoom Discussion.

Information on using Netflix Party

Tonight will be the first streaming watch party for Middle School Movie Club. We will be trying to use Netflix Party. We plan on doing some test runs during the day to make sure that it will work as planned, but there may be some growing pains as we figure it out. We will post a link on the Facebook page a few minutes before 8:00. We can also text or email the link by request. We will press play to start the movie right at 8, unless there are any technical difficulties. Please let me know if you would like me to text or email you the Netflix Party link.

There is a chrome extension that needs to be downloaded before joining a Netflix Party. Here is the link to that: Netflix Party Chrome Extension Download

After you've downloaded it, you are ready. We will post or send you a Netflix Party link. Once you click the link, you then need to click the "NP" logo, which should open the movie and a chat box. You will need to be logged into a Netflix account to participate.

Please reach out with any questions or issues you have. Thanks!

Voting is still open

Cast a vote for the movie of your choice until 7:30 tonight! Then the winner will be revealed and the watch party will begin at 8:00. Bring your own popcorn, candy, and drinks 🍿

Introducing Middle School Movie Club

This club is for any middle school aged kid who loves to watch and discuss movies. All selected movies will be available on Netflix to make it as easy to participate as possible. Wednesday evenings at 8:00 will be a Netflix Party where members will be able to watch the movie together virtually with a linked chat. You do not have to attend the Wednesday Watch Party to participate in the Movie Club Discussions on Saturday nights at 8:00. To join the club, click subscribe and the links to join both events will be emailed to you on the day of the meetings.
